| Mr Torrez has more than 25 years of experience in solving technical problems associated with the electronic, geotechnical, and environmental fields. He has provided consulting expertise to leading earth science businesses and institutions in investigative engineering, compaction control and environmental investigations.Recent work includes monitoring landslides and structural failures in Orange, San Diego, and Los Angeles counties. He has provided instrumentation for the Mystic Lane landslide in Laguna Beach, California; Gold Hill area of the Panama Canal; and a 36-inch natural gas pipeline in Cascade Locs, Washington. | Chris Buckley | ||||
| Dr Buckley is a Registered Geologist and Certified Engineering Geologist with extensive experience in engineering geology, exploration geophysics, and structural geology. He formerly served as professor of Geology at California State University, Los Angeles; University of California, Santa Barbara; and California State University, Fullerton. He has also served as geologist for the U.S. Geological Survey and leading engineering firms. His recent work includes investigation into the effects of man-made ground motion on the Minuteman III missile system, development of models for prediction and evaluation of landslides and earth failures, and application of tilt sensors as part of a real time slope failure alarm system in the Panama Canal.
